Santa Cruz out for Blackburn

by BonBoh » 10 Oct 2007 20:54

It seems Santa Cruz will probably not be playing against Reading.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/blackburn_rovers/7037414.stm

He apparantly has tendonitis in his knee and will be out for a number of weeks.
He is a real threat and this might be good news for our defence next week when we play at Blackburn.

Good news. But the arrogant git was beginning to lose his shine anyway, and I'd say Benni McCarthy, Gamst Morten Pedersen and David Bentley are much bigger threats. Could they, perhaps, be persuaded to eat some half-cooked Asda sausages on the morning of the match?

Thanks for that.

I'll drop him from my dream team squad then.

(although I would have found out on the Friday before when I did my research!)

Yep it will be interesting to see if Sonko starts against Blackburn TM....would be good to see him back(although he may be a bit knackered with all the fun and games with Imogen)
