Arsenal prediction and match thread

by Chaney » 08 Nov 2007 16:11

OK I know its 4 days early, but this is a big game for us, probably as big as they come, I`d really be overjoyed if we could get something from this game.
but sadly I really can`t see anything but a comfortable gunners victory.

Reading 0 Arsenal 3

4 or 5 -0 Arsenal. If they play anything like they have been. We are too 'nice' to get a result against Arsenal. It's no surprise that teams like Blackburn, Bolton and Sheffield Utd got results against them and we got stuffed!

Reading will hold their own but never look like threatening the Arsenal defence, but Arsenal will ALWAYS look dangerous.

Reading 0 - 1 Arsenal

(Febregas 64 Minute)

Overcast chilly evening.

Great Atmosphere (from Arsenal fans & the 150 kids in the South/East corner from Reading end) but we all go home dissapointed yet again.

Would this be the city who haven't lost at home yet, versus the Reading that haven't won away?
All set for a double run-ending performance?
Lets hope so. :?

Agree, but a loss is a loss against whoever. Still dissapointing & annoying.

Not if it's expected. Anything other than a defeat will be a bonus but I've already written Monday off.

Been fearing this game for a few weeks now. If we can kep them down to the same scoreline as last season I think we'll be doing well.

However, this is RFC we're talking about. Knowing us, we'll probably play like demons and scrape a flukey 1-1!

Nah. 0-4.

Lawro has just predicted 1-1  May I change my prediction from 0-4 to 0-6 now please?

Bet 365 (thursday pm):
Reading 6/1
Draw 3/1
Arsenal 1/2

RTG perhaps but given a packed madhouse a 2-1 royals victory @ 20/1 looks reasonable to me.

If a packed Mad Stad was a guarantee of a win we'd only have lost to Derby and Wigan in the last 18 months !
