T.R.O.L.I. I think that's a great offer from Maidenhead - and it should ensure quite a big crowd.

Depends how many want to watch Reading on TV as that will seriously reduce the numbers that may be interested in going.

The 17 Bus and this could go in General football. £9 to watch a bunch of sunday league players, is a joke.

Reading v West Ham is at 1pm so I'm sure local Reading fans will be able to find a boozer that's showing the RFC game and then nip along to York Road in time for a 3pm kickoff. Can't see there being a mad scramble at the turnstiles...

starliaison This should go in club policies or the STAR forum - but as it is about watching football when we have away games I thought it would get more response here.
STAR have been approached by Maidenhead Utd to let Reading fans not going to the West Ham game on Boxing Day know that they are invited to Maidenhead United’s local derby home game against Hayes & Yeading United (kick-off 3pm).
Any Reading fan showing their season ticket will be entitled to £4 entry instead of the usual £9, with free entry for under 16s if a Reading season ticket is shown.
Maidenhead United is located in York Road, Maidenhead – and is a couple of minutes walk from Maidenheead train station and close to the A4 and M4

Whereas £41 to watch an overhyped league of prima donnas is perfectly acceptable.
Even League 2 football is £19.00 FFS
