he didnt start at norwhich and no one complained then, its just because he come on and changed the game everyone is an expert.

I admit I thought he would of kept cisse with jem and not tabb

marek did his job, come on and changed the game.

He's great distributing the ball when we're going froward, but when it comes to tackling he's a red card waiting to happen. Hence he doesn't start games but comes on later....

I'm one of MM's biggest fans and even I said he shouldn't start today. I think he came on at the right time and made an impact.

Having said that, it's Tabb and Marek for me for the play-offs.

you are missing me point m8 lol

he should start for sure

but everyone is saying SC missed the point today not playing him, but no one was calling for him our last 4 league games. so it is easy to say SC got it wrong.

BUT he got it right, by putting him on and marek performing

I've given up saying Marek should start. HTH. I'm glad a few more fans have come around to my way of thinking though - because an awful lot thought he was rubbish earlier in the season.

He's never been rubbish - just so much on a different plane of vision from the rest of the team.

Right from his first appearance in a Reading shirt it was pretty clear that he was a class above the rest of the squad in certain aspects of the game - nothing he has done since has disproved that.

Unfortunately the things he isn't so good at have convinced Coppell that he is not the name around which the whole team should be built, which is what I would have liked to have seen - if for nothing else so that I could have reason to applaud a Reading pass every now and then.

When he gives the ball away needlessly it is usually when trying to be inventive whilst threading the ball through a gap that wasn't really there, when our other players give the ball away it is generally because they have booted it in the general direction of a Reading player who was never likely to get anywhere near it.

He's my fave 'Ding player at the mo. Well...most of this season, tbh. I love the guy. But I agree that he doesn't seem to be on the same level as the other players. He can play a great ball through the defence, but if the strikers don't see it coming, it's useless.

I think Tabb's height (or lack of it) is a problem.

I love him. He wins balls he has no right to. He plays with his heart on his sleeve. He has no small amount of ability. He's the first player since Sidwell who's prepared to f@ckin' stick his foot in when it's needed. He's Steven Hunt without an ego.

Good to see a proper's football fans opinion here. MM does give the ball away because his vision was a class above. MM and Bikey are a class above the whole squad and we would prob lose them to a team like Brum if we fail to go up which is the only real reason I would be bothered if we mess up in the play offs. It should have been MM and Karacan from the start of the season (Karacan struggled against expereince today but some of his deliveries were decent) and Bikey and Pearce at the back. But due to Coppell's awful selections over the season has ultimately cost us points. I've said right the way through that the correct settled starting 11 would have walked this league, it's just a same the manager cocked it up
