Henry

Apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere, but I've been away all weekend.

Anyway, it seems to me that due to Henry still being at Millwall, albeit on the bench yesterday, for their play off campaign, I can't help but think that RFC don't consider he has a future here - I'd have called him back before the play-offs started, as we could well have needed him, particularly now with all our injuries - yet we've let him stay at Millwall and try and help them get promotion.

Personally, I think that would be a great shame, but I do wonder if Millwall are going to make an offer for him during the Summer. :|

He came on and made a huge difference to Millwall. Delivering free-kicks at head height too, and corners. No wonder he doesn't fit in here.

I hope he has a future here.

Henry has never been given a fair chance to play in a Reading side by Steve Coppell.

I think he should be playing as he holds the ball up and delivers a good corner and cross into the box which is far better than Kebe has done all season.

Hopefully we will see more of Henry next season.

I am reliably informed that Millwall are desperate to sign him even if they don't go up. But he also has interested 3 other Championship clubs who are keen to sign him next season. I hope he decides to stay but I guess if he wants to continue playing regular then he may opt to move.

I really really hope to see him as a regular fixture on our right wing next season.

If he does, we just need a specialist left winger and we can use Kebe as cover for both flanks. Assuming SHunt sods off. How's Robson-Kanu doing these days? And did we get rid of Antonio Murray or is he an outside possibility?

Michael Antonio you mean?

Not exactly setting the world alight at Cheltenham by accounts I've read on their forum. (Something along the lines of "Pacey and tricky but barn door wouldn't be big enough for him" was one comment.)

However, Cheltenham is a big step up from Tooting so he must be progressing.

As for Robson-Kanu, Swindon supporters seem to like him but are not too happy with his final ball. I believe he has signed to 2011 for us so presumably he has a future here.

Meh, something to do with Antonio.

Talk about bloodt groundhog day! Simon Cox.

And yet Sir Steve's Love Child (aka Kebe) is a guaranteed starter week in week out, no matter that he's not a footballer!!

Maybe we have a strange clause when we signed him, not along the lines of play 50 games and we pay you another £100,000, but if we don't play Kebe 40 times a season we pay you a shed load more dosh. That can be the only reason he keeps his place week in week out, ad nauseam, until 99% of fans would dearly wring his neck rather than see him start a game.

Poor old James Henry will never be a regular squad member (never mind starter!) for us whilst Sir Steve is in charge. Sad but true.

If Henry is so good why did he not start for Millwall yesterday?

He may not have been fully fit as he has been injured but he is a team playing at home that elected to keep him on the bench for the first half. Why? Clearly not a stick on starter so there must be something that the Millwall mangemment have concerns about.

I'm reliably informed that whether he stays is not a decision for young James.

Odd things these contracts......

Hopefully his loan spells will have completed his education and he'll be ready to become a regular first teamer rather than a young player with a talent and potential.....

Ideally you would have two players for each position, I would keep Henry and..................................Kebe and send Little back to Pompey. He couldn't wait to jump ship when we went down.

I'm reliably informed that if he wants to go and a club are willing to make a decent offer he will go. It's the Reading Way.

Bear in mind it's Millwall.....

They tried for Karacan last summer and were turned away.

Presumably because Karacan was on the edge of the first team and wanted to stay. If Henry wants to go he will.

I hope he doesn't, and I expect him to be a first team regular, so there's not much reason to think he would want to. But saying he doesn't have the choice is ludicrous given our transfer policy.

Does Henry's Millwall appearance cup-tie him for Wembley, should we get there?

Millwall will lose to Leeds in the semis, Henry will return and play at Wembley for us, scorign a hat trick as we canter over Sheff U and into the abyss that is the Prem
