I mean surely there is food for thought that a new manager may want to have say Marcus in his team? It's not as if he's that bad for christs sake?
It looks to me we're having a firesale...

I suspect that decisions have already been made in regard to who manages us next season.Thou Voice ...just a really stupid question here - but should it not be the new oncoming manager who picks and chooses who stays and goes?

Yes but, also sack the support team that know the players that remain?Ian Royal Why keep players who are almost certain to be released by a new manager when you can get rid of them now and free up squad space and wages for the inevitable and necessary influx of new blood.

Still finding it hard to work out why MH, would automatically be released by any manager (unless of course......................................)

Because he's probably on a big wage, he's past it and we're trying to build a new team?

Royalee In 2 days Hammond's already done a better job than Coppell in clearing out the deadwood.

you listened to the BBCB phone-ups too.Dirk Gently It was no surprise to any of them - they know that RFC hardly ever offers a new contract at the end of the season. Contract discussions would have happened months ago if they were going to be kept on - this is just really the public confirmation.

I thought we had a policy where contracts were not renewed until the end of the season?
Might be from a few years ago now and has been broken for the bigger name players of course.

This came to my mind also, perhaps the next manager still has playoff commitments with his current side?Dirk Gently And who's to say that the next manager isn't pulling the strings in the background but Hus can't do things "officially" yet for legal/contractual reasons .......?

Can't you come back as Sir Rodger Doyle. It was so much better when you played the comedy role of being the only shittinted glasses wearing misericunt on the board.
