Coppell - Can He Save Us???

by Thou Voice » 12 Sep 2009 17:17

After all the huff and puff of countless press conferences saying "How damn good we'll be" and that "We will play the ball", the only thing in evidence today is that we are not good and we cannot play the ball.

This stupid stupid team is absolutely heading towards Division 1 at the moment and we can't even beat a sorry looking Doncaster.

Does the board not know that in 2009 the object is to score goals, something of which we have been so piss poor of late we cannot.

Thou Voice, the fantastic keyboard warrior he is - would be a better footballer then 99% of the fools that decided to wear the Reading shirt these days?

WHY SHOULD I PAY TO SEE THIS CRAP ANYMORE?

Being a life long fan of the club that I am, I am devistated by the commitment or rather lack of that that the backroom staff provide?

Speaking of which, isn't it about time that idiot of a manager admits that he is no good at this level and needs to either pratice a little more on Football Manager 2009 or go back to Sunday school pub leagues.

Absolutely disgusted and I expect all you RTG wearers will pick holes in this, but the fact is I am right and you are all wrong.

DO YOU SEE?

DUX, to address your two poor efforts of a post...

1. If you can't see this, you must be one of them?
- Are you? Are you a member of the backroom staff and this post has hit the RAW nerves of truth?

2. I highly doubt I am the worse poster of HNA. I do however deal in truths and facts that those with RTG's refuse to believe or see...

DO YOU SEE?

great post, full of humour and personality.

Anyone can see things are not too good at RFC at the moment. Your contributions are, erm, not needed.

just saying.

Ideal Lux, this time I actually agree with Thou Voice, we could play 9000 minutes and not score.
Pissing the ball about is not effective, we need Coppell's direct style of play, then we would score goals.

Anyone except Royalee and his partners in crime, who all seem to think it is all fantastic and the Rodgers revolution is great

Or maybe they're not impatient cnuts and realise that such a change will take time.

If you don't like it then oxf*rd off and support someone else.

I am not interested in the poll question, totally irrelevant as far as I am concerned; in the grand scheme of thing who gives a sh*t what the manager says after the game, as if it is ever going to be anything of earth-shattering interest. What I am wondering is.....who is the worst poster on HNA, Slammed or winchester_royal? I think it must be the latter, after all he somehow manages to be the second person to use that username which in itself is quite some feat :|

If Hob Nob was a colour-scheme you would be beige; utterly unmemorable.

And if you were a colour you'd be pink. Amusing for a couple of minutes, but desperately annoying once the novelty's worn off.

My head was up Coppell's backside before he even joined us and it still is now and I'm still gutted he wanted to go.

But great as he is if his heart isn't in something he doesn't deserve to be here.

BR might be new but he has more passion than a return-Coppell would ever have at the mo.

The past is the past. We can't begin to judge BR yet (not until AT LEAST half the season has gone) so commenting on the first game with all BR's men is just stupid.
