Trip to the Somme

There are a few plces left on the trip to the Somme. Details bleow. If you want to reserve a place mail me on info@star-reading.org.

Friday 10th June:
Depart from Stadium at around 0630 and convey to Dover to catch ferry to Calais, before heading on to Vimy, Neuville St Vasst and Wancourt Woods. Then on to hotel in Amiens.
Saturday 11th June:
Depart from Hotel for Delville Woods, Guille Mont, Fonquevillers, Counin and Corbie Cemeteries, before heading back to Calais to catch ferry back to Dover, and then back to Stadium

The cost is anticipated to be £165 given the current exchange rate based on a shared room at Amiens, with a supplement of £55 for a single room. Sorry but the hotel cost is per room with 2 sharing so we need to cost it the same way.
Jon Cooksey and Graham McKechnie will act as military and RFC historical guides supplying a written guide for all.
The maximum number on the tour is 30 so it will be first come first served and once we have enough commitments to know it will go ahead we will be asking for deposits to pass on to the hotel and coach company. You are responsible for own travel insurance
