It's amazing what practically giving tickets away at £5 a piece can do.

you could post something different!

i think weve done pretty well, considering the season weve had, and that most people assumed demand would drop off in the second season, especially if we struggled

and as for the discount
many clubs cut their season tickets and match day prices, and still arent filling their grounds

In order to further develop, yes we do! To 30,000 though, not 38,000.

Yea, 30'000 seems a reasonable expansion - although I think we should wait a little time first, just to see how the next season (where ever we are) pans out.

Congrats on selling £1 tickets to 6 games this year for kids. Selling out at £1 and selling out at £31 are two different things.

Not forgetting the buy 3 get one free offer which is cheaper for these four games than having a season ticket for them.

Selling out the day before an absolutely vital game with the use of some special offers, suggests to me that the stadium is just about the perfect size for us.

Stupid arguement. You'd all bitch if the club didn't make such offers, in fact, you all did bitch about it and now they try and encourage fans and future fans, you still bitch!!

Hush yow lip, bitches!

Not bitching about the special offers, I like to see a full ground. Just explaining why this game is sold out.

No they aren't. They are both sell outs.

The profit may be different. Get your facts right.

In the marketing game the target for the club appears to be filling all the seats. They seem to be doing that quite well at the moment.

The important fact is that, contrary to the rumour on this board, there is no dramatic or wholesale drop-off in crowd figures at the moment.

It's nonsense to suggest that special offers with really cheap tickets is the same as ongoing sustainable demand at Madejski favoured prices. If we gave tickets away there would probably be enough ongoing demand to justify doubling the size of the stadium!

All academic anyway because, from all that has been said, I would suggest that JM ain't going to spend the money until all of the planets fall in a straight line and dinosaurs return to rule the earth!
