Online ticketing

by Hungerford Royal » 26 Sep 2009 08:22

I've just tried to buy a ticket for the Watford game today using on-line ticketing (last minute decision),but unfortunately I'm not getting any games up for purchase. If I wait to phone the ticket office I'm going to have to pay full price for a ticket.Anyone any ideas if there's a quick fix to this problem?

As it is now match day surely however you buy a ticket it will cost you full price ?

Is there a loop hole that the website gives you pre match day prices even on match day ?

Maybe they are happy to let supporters buy via the web at pre-match day prices, even on the day of the game itself? Afterall, it takes the workload off the ticket office and no human intervention (at the club's end) is required.

Yep, I realise that if thousands of people bought on line at the last moment it might leave them short of stewards etc. but it's not really likely to happen.

They actually employ humans in the ticket office? That explains where all the money has gone then

You may be right - but if it was the case wouldn't you think they would make some reference to it or publicise it a bit more ?

I'm sure someone will have bought on line on match day before and be able to confirm what the default price is.

Unfortunately even if you buy online the day before (let alone on the day which I don't think they allow) you have to queue up and get your bit of paper from the ticket office.
