2011/12 DVD

The Megastore have been telling me for sometime that they should get copies of the 2011/12 DVD back in stock, today they said they don't expect there to be any new deliveries.

With this in mind, Does anyone with the DVD want a free backup made and/or conversion to iPhone/iPad or similar format? If so, can you lend me your DVD for 24 hours?

I asked why they couldn't just burn some more copies on request - said it doesn't even need a fancy cover etc..........still got a "no"

So its them losing money

Same thing happened to me. Any chance someone could youtube it or upload it somewhere for peeps to enjoy? Seems a shame the club aren't making it available for fans.

Never buy football shirts. Never buy season DVD's - massive waste of money.

My neighbour knows someone with a copy, So hoping to borrow it and burn a copy off. The Megastore e-mailed me to say it's out of stock and won't be reissued.

If anyone can lend me a copy I will gladly return it with copies of all the previous season DVD's I have, Including those released on VHS only, plus a copy of the record breaking royals video Number 17 bus lent/gave me ages ago to copy.

Also happy to share this with others, If the club complain then they should be aware that we all want to buy the DVD from them at £20 or whatever it was.

Cost of blank DVD (if bought in a spindel of 100) = 12p
Time taken to make a copy = 5 minutes or less.

They should be making money hand over fist here, People pop into the Megastore, ask for a particular DVD and have it burnt off while they wait. All you need is a computer. You can do this in snappy snaps with photos or even in Asda with a self service booth.

Yes, I inquired at the fans forum and was told exactly the same. I was going to buy 2 copies, one for myself and one for my son as a birthday present. Needless to say he is a little miffed that the club have said no to burning more copies. Maybe the club could put up a entry asking who would like a copy - payment in advance - just to see how many people would still like to purchase a copy of the DVD.

Just an extra 'hand up' for the DVD. Almost shameful they aren't producing more copies! If anyone can be kind enough to use a progarmme like Handbrake (free: http://handbrake.fr/downloads.php), you can make a copy in no time.

Glad I got mine when I did. You wonder if the club want our money? The whole title range of merchandise has been pathetic. No T shirts, Caps Scarves or badges to celebrate a special achievment. You check out other clubs sites they have tons of stuff even Sheffield Weds and they didn't even win the league!
