Home games remaining

by Harpers So Solid Crew » 11 Jan 2014 04:25

Just had a looksie, and not really much of interest to a non ST holder, unless we go on a storming run. Derby and Leicester being the closest teams to play here left.

Might it be an idea to do a ticket deal to attract more to the ground, South stand a tenner each seat no concessions perhaps.

Also Mr A started a thread on renewals, perhaps offer a package of five games for said tenner, and get a new ST for the price of a renewal next season.

Surely if we can do stundent tickets for a tenner and give seats away to stewards to try to fill it up it would be better publicity to do something for everyone?

Also, local clubs that are affiliated to RFC get good deals. I think mine is 15 quid for an adult, and a fiver for kids. Can buy something like 10 tickets. If they did this next season, then I might not bother renewing our STs

You want a ticket deal to go to the less attractive games? Good luck trying to justify that to us season ticket holders!

In any case, those games are more winnable...

It is more like filling the ground up, empty seats are a wasted opportunity for income.

How do you feel about the cheap seats all ready offered? But only to special groups like Uni students and kids?

Schools, local youth football teams etc, no problem with it at all. It's a small amount and it encourages future support.

If you want cheaper tickets to fill the empty seats then that cost saving needs reimbursing to STH's - and that's why you wont get it!

Our average attendances this season are some, if not the best we have had in the Football League. With a takeover and some signings this month it will only boost the crowds further.
