Change of kick off time in midweek home games?

by gdroyal » 24 Jun 2015 22:13

Have the evening kick off times at the Madejski been moved to 7:45 as the current fixture list suggests or will these be changed in the next few weeks.

I hope not, the extra 15 minutes can be very useful.

Might allow us to get home earlier and get longer to sleep, after all I was told an hour before 12 (midnight) is worth two after.

If we kicked off 15 minutes earlier all those who leave 10 mins before the end could stay to the final whistle and still be home 5 minutes earlier.

Got to be worth a try....

Dave-Royal 7-45 pm it say on the reading fixtures.... ..... won't matter to me I only,,15 mins from mad Stand.... from my home ... I leave 3 hours before kick off

You leave before kick-off? most stay leave after final whistle, except when RFC are particularly bad which meant most home matches last season.

Yeh not sure we should be pandering to the night owls here.

Not aware of any changes, sometimes they get posted as 7-45 when the fixtures come out but are then updated to 8pm after a few weeks. Only games on TV are set at 7-45.

If there has been a change though I would expect the club to call it out.

I've got a better chance of making the last train home with an extra 15 minutes.... it'd be nice not having to take a day off to see a midweek match

The current fixture list on the OS still shows the home games against Rotherham and Forest (both in 2016) as being 19:45 KO

Yep, it's odd that, given the Hull match later in the season is down as 8pm. Can only assume that they need Rotherham and Forest's approval for a later KO.
