Stuka I wonder if the internet will ever go back to how it was in the 1990's with minimal things on the screen; just the essential information.

If you hate the ads cluttering your screen and slowing your computer as I do, then install AdBlock. It's free and it works for nearly all ads.

Most things go in a cycle, but the BBC is virtually just video reports these days with very few actual words on their site.
I agree with comments that the current site is Oxf*rd, but sadly the same format is applied to most Premier and Championship team sites, little original layout thought or links to other relevant sites.

I rarely watch the BBC videos, It's not really compatible with using the internet at work when you need earphones to listen to it.

Yep never watch the videos as indeed usually checking at work. I don't really use the computer at home anymore at all actually.
