Svlad Cjelli
parky
Svlad Cjelli Never going to happen, though. Far too easy to copy. One of the reasons for all the fancy bells and whistles on modern shirts is to make them distinctive and make them much harder to counterfeit.

Who wants a counterfeit Reading shirt?

No-one. But the principle extends for all shirts they do, some of which are worth conterfeiting.

It might be one of the daft excuses they throw around but in reality it has to be complete rubbish. Which kits are the most in demand for counterfeiting? The likes of Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Barcalona, Real Madrid, Milan etc etc. Now which kits are pretty much the most plain, simple and classical designs? The same list.

The only kits that have the rubbish trims and clever attempts and making them different are the cheap lower league kits made by the likes of Puma that we get lumbered with. It's all trying to make them look clever and different so they can change it more easily ever season.

The upshot is they just look cheap and tacky.

Yeah, totally agree, we'll most likely be lumbered with this shit.

The hoops actually look like a downgrade of our current kit. This genuinely looks like a white shirt which has been shaded with a pastel?

Why can't football teams just keep their kits nice and simple. Totally agree with the Celtic comments, their shirts are always nice. I very much liked QPR's this year too, albeit I don't like the excess advertisement.

Blue and white complete hoops with red templates on back, white shorts, white socks with a thin blue hoop below the knee, please?

This is Burnley's new Puma shirt. A hooped version of this (with the white shorts and socks) would be good -

No Fixed Abode First with the news. Sorry about my photoshopping - but don't have much time.

This is the 2011/2012 shirt. Can't remember which way around the colouring goes as I only saw it briefly.

Looks like there may be some truth in this..? The two stripes leading from the collar are the same, as well as the collar itself. I'm guessing it'd be more than likely the top version as the white one looks too much like the fake hoops..

Looks too plain and too easy to create a rip off version so it must be an elaberate fake!

The simple Puma one I did myself. That Adidas one I found on the net. This latest one - I saw the other day. Can't reveal my source as it would get them in trouble.

I like it though. I've put some weight on so those bigger hips will work well.

Well I hope 'No Fixed Abode' is right, looks like it could be a good shirt. Simple job with collar. I might actually buy one this year if it's like that.

Burnley design is also encouraging.

Burnley used their new kit for the first time on Saturday in their last league game. Coventry also used their new one for the first time when they played us the other week. How come other clubs design, agree and use their next kit well in advance of Reading who wait until the last possible moment?

Maybe they didn't have a horror 2010/11 design that's still on the shelves in the club shop.

I like Coventry's return to the 1960s for next season (even if it is a little spoiled by the massive city link logo)

Perhaps Reading could learn something from a past classic design too.... however as its Reading they'll want something wearable but crappy so fans actually want it swapped out after a year (least that seems to have been the policy for the last 3/4 years)
