Am I right in thinking that the BBC will screen 10 Live Championship games next season?

Answering my own question - these changes kick in in August 2009 - so we'll be enjoying champuionship highlightsd on ITV as usual on Sundays then

and then this obviously wont affect us for 2009 as we'll be back in the premiership by then.

At least Sky have sorted out their Coca Cola League TV Review / review programmes - IIRC, there's an hour and a half preview show on a Friday evening and then another hour and a half highlights show on Mondays.

The only annoying thing about that is George Gavin

We also have the chance of still appearing quite often on a Saturday evening I would imagine, Sky seem to have begun to show 1 championship game every Saturday thanks to Setanta.

And the Monday night 8pm slot - although would rather not have too many far away away games moved there (a la Sheff Weds v Plymouth a few weeks ago).

A semi-Dodd, if I may. The release of the fixtures has been in this thread for a long time... http://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=74080&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

Then I'll consider myself semi-Dodded!

Looking forward to "local" trips to Coventry, Birmingham, and Wolves...

With the festival on the weekend of the 23rd, we can expect to start the season away from home.

Not necessarily - no reason why our games can't go Home, Away, Away, Home (as per the 05/06 season).

Didn't the season start very early that year though, ie first weekend of August due to the WC.

I'm thinking,

9/8 Away

League Cup Rd 1 is that midweek

16/8 Home

Midweek W/c 18/8 - Home again if fixtures

23/8 - Away

Having booked my holiday to finish just before the Premier League season kicks off  I'm hoping you're right.
