Ian Royal Big businesses have piss poor communication. Especially when the main aim of the senior people in that business is running a football club, not a sales service.

Piss poor communication = poor implementation of policy

so basically what Dirkers said.

The only thing is that, in terms of numbers of staff employed, Reading Football Club is in no shape or form a 'big business'. Therefore, far less reason/excuse for piss poor communication.

OK, so we would have been slightly OTT boycotting a game, but the point remains that I had to login as a member in order to book tickets which were then charged to me as if I were a non-member. That's pretty poor, and is ultimately a cost to the club. But it's sorted now and hopefully the loophole has been closed.

Yes, except that while they have ths staff and setup of a small busines, they are trying to service the customer-base and turnover of a bif business. The people on the ground are expected to do an awful lot with extremely minimal resources.

But they still do it a whole lot better than they did a few years ago!
