LOL!

I'm guessing you're a rough and ramshackled kind of guy.

Some guy called murial could sort out the bare walls. Guess what - much untapped talent out there.

No Fixed Abode
Terminal Boardom I would like to see the concourses smartened up. They have been untouched since opened and they still look half finished. When one looks at facilities at other sports stadia worldwide, going to the Mad Stad is a real let down. But since when does the club give a fig about the supporters?

I mentioned this a few seasons ago. The club need to ditch the exposed breeze block look and smarten it up a bit.

I could never understand why there wasnt a mezzanine floor put in the voids directly above the concourse areas. Looking at it purely as a business, it seems to me that once you have got punters in a captive space, you should look at maximising every single opportunity to relieve them of their cash. An upper floor allows more food/drink opportunities, you could even chuck a bit of cheap carpet down, put a fruit machine or two in, and charge a small premuim to gain gain access to it.

I wonder if these focus groups have anything to do with the lovely and fragrant Miss Jacob's tremendous and worthwhile mission to turn the brilliant and friendly spackerdome into one massive face painted crèche. I for one am definitely behind this. It's just what we, and modern football in general need tbf.

Edit: No spare log available and not risking a repeat of spunkgate.

The club do need to look at themselves though. Marketing of the club is woeful and so is their football in the community scheme. The club should be getting in to all primary schools in the area and marketing the club to catch supporters at a young ag before they go off a support the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.

And I still cannot believe there is no club shop in the town. I know they trialled it a while ago. Not only would it be a point of sale, but a place to advertise the club. A Saturday afternoon out of the football season, Town full of parents with their kids, Kingsley out on Broad Street promoting the club, giving out promotional leaflets..............I feel the club could do a lot more.......but it seems to me there are far too many people at the club not passionate about the brand.

Poor fishing

First para is dismissed because the club have been doing it for years and years.

Second para is dismissed because Kingsley is often in Broad Street (was there last week, was also in Woodley

Club has several 'points of sale' in town, the only thing you can't get in town is tickets.

Crap fishing from the local troll, I feel you could do a lot more.

tbf the club aren't into all the Primary schools in the area though are they?

Fishing or not, I actually think not Kes makes some valid points.

jeezy christ, if the club were doing stuff in primary schools there'd be a 20 page thread on here criticising them for marketing themselves at children

They are actually.

I could tell you the specifics but I can't be bothered. Needless to say, there's a reason the UW was full of kids in the West Brom game and the NW corner had loads of them for the Preston game.

I'm a strong believer in having a club shop in town. Not shoved down in some corner like last time, something in the town where they could sell tickets as well.

The club contact schools and offer them cheap tickets - they've done that at my kids' schools when they were all at school - however, they do NOT have an RFC coaching or holiday club or whatever at EVERY primary school in the area.

That Friday Feeling I was a 'mystery shopper' in the concourse once.

I told them it's shit but it made bugger all difference.

Hope you also told them food and drink is overpriced, the quality of food and beverage is poor and service is poor.

I got free tickets to some games when I was at school. And that was back in the 1970s. All I had to do was ask a teacher.

Why do they need a "holiday club" at EVERY primary school?

They have really decent deals for families to take their kids to RFC games which is where the seeds are sown.

 Are you deliberately being obtuse? The argument was/is/whatever that RFC have a presence in ALL local Primary Schools and my response was, correctly, that they DON'T.

Maybe a few images of past players, action photos from past games and images of supporters on the bare walls would brighten things up more.

Well if the club took the concept seriously and actually commissioned someone (me me!!) to design something along the lines of the full club history in a time chart/imagery and highlights kind of way then i would be happy to assist in this. The rendering on the walls could be interesting though as it is still just breeze block. Also as it is a shared ground, some kind of parity would be needed with London Irish.
