Did introducing goal music make much difference in 200x then? TBF I can well imagine it didn't really which I guess is your point.
Don't recall it having a significant impact.
Depends if I hate/like the song in general for me I suppose:
First song was decent, didn't mind it. (Tom Hark one) Bit too generic.
Then we experimented with a shit song for 6 months or so. That one really pissed me off. It was rubbish.
Like the current song - 'Chase The Sun - Planet Funk'. You might say it's generic darts shit, but I recall it being played pre-match for quite a few years, as well as being part of the BBC Berks coverage, so I already associated the song with Reading FC. Much like Embrace - Ashes:
