mr_number Got my tickets in the post today.

Have to say, having this across the top of the tickets is up there with Sham having the Olympic Stadium on their's (or anything the RFC marketing department come up with):

but then you haven't lived in the black country...

Are tickets still available for this, only I can't get the online system to work at the moment - all it does is let me select a qty while no block or age groups are available.

Anyone else having trouble buying tickets online for this game only?

I'll probably have to call them instead. Won't let me choose a block, number of tickets etc.

Just booked by phone - they weren't aware of the problem buying tickets online, but they are now

They fixed the stand and age thing but still can't select a quantity, only 0 is available. Can't really ring whilst I'm at work either. Stupid system.

Agreed and, for the record, if you do not have an internet connection (or its screwed as at the moment) and want to book tickets from abroad then forget it as you can't get into the the ticket office phone system (the 0844 number doesn't work) and even the main switchboard at the club can't transfer you to the ticket office. This is, of course, totally ludicrous.

In.

Now, it's been a while since my last visit - in terms of booking train tickets, what sort of time should I be looking at for the train home i.e. how long does it take from The Hawthorns to New Street?

You would make a 6pm train home easily. Hawthorns is about 20 mins to Snow Hill on the metro I think, plus a 10 min walk from Snow Hill to New St station.

No, but as a two-time visitor there sure doesn't seem like too many things to do.

An alternative is to Walk to Smethwick Rolfe Street (a brisk 15, gentle 20 minute walk and mostly downhill). Avoids the long queues for the Metro and takes you directly back into New Street. Only 2 trains an hour though, 06 and 36 past.

As of around 9.45 this morning, there were just over 250 tickets remaining.
