Isaac Hunt

Yes, I knew it reminded me of a kit of days of yore, ta.

Is it harsh to suggest that Hunt as a bit of an 'off-season belly' in that away kit photo?

The away kit's made me think of Wales. Or possibly that seeing as we've pissed all over Liverpool in the last three times we've played them, we've won the right to use their kit.

Do the long sleeved shirts have elastic around the cuffs or are they baggy?

Ferris Not sure about that away kit

Both pretty awful kits (home one isn't as bad as last seasons though), but this looks str8 out of the 80s, mainly due to Jay Tabb.

Nothing wrong with that Kesmond. Not that a Ch£lsea fans opinion is worth anything on here.

Home kit - Love it
Away kit - Love it

Enjoying the little bit of blue and white on the away shirt and the home shirt looks very retro which is very good in my books. Yes hoops all the way round would probably have looked better but collar + mostly white + white shorts and socks = good effort.

Haven't really been affected by the way the club released the kit either, a bit of an over reaction on here IMO.

It's amazing how they can almost get it so right, then cock it up with something so simple.

I really like it from the front, even without any hoops on the arms, but the back really does drag it down.

It's the shade thats the problem, our 'Spain' away kit from the early 00s was great, that shade, in all red, would have looked terrific.

There's red in our badge. I don't see the problem with it. In fact red and white are the dominant colours in our badge, followed by blue.

Agree with the comments about the all white back, but I don't mind it so much. I love an all white kit under the floodlights, players stand out more.

I remember Peter Shilton wearing an all white kit in the 70s for Leicester City - may have been a cup replay or something. Didn't do him any good lol

As for red in the badge - yes I know. When did the badge come in? When we moved to the Mad Stad. In any case, the red in the badge is more of a burgundy which matched the away shirt at that time (The Melchester Rovers style). I just don't understand why we have to have predominantly red or yellow as an away kit. Why wear the colours of your nearest rivals? At least when we did have the red and yellow hoops it looked really smart. And how much of a trick have Reading missed? They could have gone for Waitrose branded green shirts with white / black shorts which would have looked really smart. Anything but oxf*rd red!

 Indeed.

I agree about the colours of local rivals but it is local at it's very loosest term. They're a good 35 miles away

Yeah the badge came in when we moved to the lego bowl.

Agree with the burgundy comment too. That was a nice away kit and different enough not to look to Swindon.

Christ, you do moan.

Have you forgot that we wore red away shirts in 1994/5?

How about the red and white convict away shirts sponsored by Hat Painting in 1991/2 ish?

Firstly, corrected for you.

Secondly. Yes I do remember 1994/5 and I hated the red shrts then.

Thirdly, the arrowhead shirt that you refer to during the HAT era was one that I liked to the extent that I actually bought a copy. And it looked nothing like s*indon's shirt.
