ZacNaloen I assume it was tickets assigned to local schools children, presumably some sort of discount. They should do it for the rest of the season seeing as there is usually no one sat in there anyway, just a bit of extra income.

I remember back in the 1970's when the old Reading used to allocate so many free tickets to schools each week. The schools either gave them away carte blanche or gave them as awards for sporting achievements etc etcroadrunner I think it's a great idea. I think back to when I was little and first taken to watch a game from the Southbank and the noise, the atmosphere, the game itself, I was hooked for life. How many of those kids that went today and saw us score 5 goals will share a similar memory and be future life long fans?
I'd like us to reach out more to the schools, offering cheap tickets, and even be cheeky and stretch out to the surrounding areas.

Hoop Blah They can't do too many offers as it'll possibly stop parents/kids buying full price tickets or coming when there isn't an offer but I do think it's a good move by the club to go out and drum up as much interest as possible.
We all have to start somewhere, and what better way than to get a load of kids in together.
It was quite amusing to hear them raving about such a big crowd on the radio though.
