Season Ticket

by Mintymurray » 25 May 2012 19:37

Yes Yes and bloody Yes! I have just got hold of one. Although being told 4 weeks ago there would be no chance, today I have one. I have never owned one before, I have no loyalty points. But today, Yes! I live in Spain, so I will not make every game, but to be able to book a flight and see a game makes me very happy. I have in the past been able to get back, only to find, no tickets available. Some may recall how I struggled for the Swansea playoff game. Thankyou, god. very happy!

Congratulations!

I don't wish to be rude, however....a friendly warning....there are some big nasty bully types on this board, who will try and intimidate you by telling you to keep all talk of football off AE.

Ignore them, stick around, we like new blood around here really.

Why thankyou, actually been a supporter for 40 odd years, lots of tales of away games, 2k attendances, rain on my head etc. I used to post regular, but, due to the idiots you refer to, tend to view more these days. Reset my username this year but post very rarely. However, well chuffed now. Mr A etc will let you know, I can let em avit both barrells if the youth want to cyber me!

Pah! Even I've been to Saltergate.
In the rain.
On a Tuesday.
It rained.
I don't think we won.

Us old farts are winning out anyway.

I suspect that by the end of the year there will be more people over 50 on here than under 20

No.

20 years on from that.

But it was definitely Saltergate.

But it was definitely the most depressing cold windswept open terrace that man or beast has ever had to endure.

RFC may have been victorious, it would be hard to tell.

I don't remember this game - certainly not on a Tuesday and I've been Chesterfield games loads of times. Oh well.

Great thanks a lot. So those of us who can't get season tickets can sit in the pub while your seat lies empty when it's sold out to membercard holders.
