Interesting read, thanks.

I'd suggest that what supporters really want is for this season to be better than last season, with a soupcon of especially if that means we're still better than that other lot down the road thrown in for good measure.

We had that for a good while until last year, and clearly many are finding trouble in coming to terms with it.

poor examples using Derby and Charlton, both still decent clubs, charlton had a good run at the top, while they were able to keep Curbs. Ask RFC fans would they rather have not had two seasons in the Prem, and hovered around the top 6 at this level for eternity.

Onward and upward, looking ahead hoping and dreaming, that is what football is all about, not staying still.
