Newcastle Utd Vs. Palace...

by West_Reading » 27 Jan 2010 20:48

I've just checked the teams for this one and it appears Palace have only THREE subs on the bench? If that's correct then they must really be in the mire when it comes to finances.

Know they have some first team players injured at the moment although they had to see one of those subs after just four minutes tonight!

Just saw this stat about Palace.

Crystal Palace are in for a torrid time after going into administration. Not only have they been docked 10 points, but may be forced to sell their star players such as Victor Moses and Darren Ambrose: between them, the two players have scored 59% of the Eagles' league goals this season. Moses alone has scored five of Palace's last seven in the Championship but has been banned from playing against Newcastle tonight.

Moses has been told he can't play as too valuable if he gets injured.

that's the norm tho. a player likely to be sold is pulled out of a game. he carries palace's greatest value, they just cant risk nobbling him.

if he and a few others go, they could stick around the bottom 8. good work :!:
