Kitsondinho I just saw this .........Don't really know what to make of it.....I have a fear it will be over something trivial like standing up. When I saw Bruce Springsteen at the Emirates, a bloke a few rows in front of us had his nose broken by a guy in front of him who was constantly standing up. All the bloke did was ask him to sit down.

Nope, it was in the concourse, not the seated area.
I understand that Blackburn supporters have developed a half-time "game" which involves throwing the concourse bins at each other.....

Then I hope it was related to that and he was an active participant. Otherwise it's pretty horrible.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe I don't think it was a game, it was Blackburn fans trashing the concourse and throwing bottles and bins up into the air, one has come down and hit this lad.
Apparently his heart stopped and a fellow fan revived him with CPR only to die later in hospital.

Shame. Good Samaritans aren't supposed to die.

I'd say it's pretty horrible whether he was an active participant or an innocent bystander.

I'm far less sympathetic where stupidity is involved. Although I didn't mean that his death was a good thing even if he was an active participant. Just if you do these things you take your chances.
regardless I sympathise with the family and friends.

Rev Algenon Stickleback H There is the odd suggestion that the guy tried to "head" the bin away as it came towards him.

Rev Algenon Stickleback H Reading one of the Blackburn forums, Blackburn have apparently developed a right set of obnoxious twats following them

Walking a fine line there, considering your intellectual prowess.

Ups and Downs I've nearly been killed on numerous occassions on the Reading concourse. Steer clear of the pizza pies guys. It's like eating molten lava.
