World Cup accommodation available

by Slinky » 19 Feb 2010 15:15

A mate of a mate has 2 apartments in Cape Town available during the World Cup if anyone has yet to sort out accommodation.

The firs apartment is 10mins walk from Cape Town Football Stadium sleeps 4 and is £160 per night minimum 3 nights. Second one is 10 min drive from CTFS but 5min walk from 'Fan Zone at Grand Parade' and again sleeps 4 but is £220 per night minimum 4 nights.

Give me a tinkle if you're interested and i'll pass on your details.

the sad thing is those prices are actually cheap for Cape Town during the world cup. Look on any hotel booking site and £200-£400 is the norm just for a double room.

I was due to go. I have tickets to various first rounds games, but two weeks there would cost the price a small car, such are the blatant rip-offs at every turn. It used to be that vistors to South Africa would worry about being mugged outside their hotels.
