0-0. Enjoyed that. Cote d'Ivoire very, very impressive and Portugal will be relieved to get a point out of that.

I hate to say it for fear of making kes w@nk his cock but with a fit Drogba Cote D'Ivoire would surely have won that, evidence of his actual chance notwithstanding

Have to rank Cote D'Ivoire up with Germany as the best team of the tournament so far.

Another game of limited interest. Not appalling but hardly lived up to its billing.

Textbook African naivety with the corner at the end.

Promised the world and delivered diddlyoxf*rd, although Ronaldo would've made the eternal highlights reel had his screamer hit net not post

With a due nod to the fact it was the group opener for both, Portugal looked old and none too useful to me (although they soaked up well the pressure that they invited upon themselves)

Eh whatever, now give us Brazil

cmonurz Have to rank Cote D'Ivoire up with Germany as the best team of the tournament so far.

Are you mad, they created maybe two half-chances, jesus it says a lot for the world cup if that performance has them up there...please let this first week of world cup not be typical of tournament

Solid at the back, powerful in midfield, pacy all over the pitch. Yes, they could have created more, but Gervinho was a deserved man of the match and Drogba will probably get more minutes as the tournament goes on.

So yes, up there with Germany imho.

Wish I'd seen the game so I could laugh at cmonurz for thinking the performance was in Germany's league.

Sadly I missed it so I don't know.

Germany, Ghana, Argentina and South Korea the only even remotely impressive teams so far. And I'm on my 8th game.

I didn't think Japan looked half shabby

And Brazil have found a couple of ways --and very nearly a third-- around the bus parked between themselves and the North Korean goal

After watching tonights matches and hearing that this group is a 3 horse race for going through, i honestly believe thats rubbish as DPR Korea imo performed well enough to beat either of these on their performances tonight.
