England 1 Germany 3

A good effort by England, but ultimately the difference in creativity will tell.

I see Joachim Loew, and I think Spandau Ballet are missing a keyboard player

The emotion gets to Rooney and he gets stupidly sent off.

Starfish England to win 3-1 in normal time. The German defence is not the most solid at the tournament and I can see them conceding early and being hit on the break again and again.

bobbybottler Capello needs to find a way of getting Gerrard to stay on the left hand side and stop Lahm committing defenders....which in turn creates space for Ozil and Poldi. Stop Lahm stop Germany.

I have an odd feeling that England might win this one, think that the WC is in the bag and then capitulate in the QFs

Nice first prediction...he didn't did he

Fail on the second.

Neither team especially convincing in front of goal

Goals scored when Klose on pitch >>>> Goals scored when Klose not on pitch.

:|

Only just - 3 vs 2.

And most of Germany's goals coming against a poor Australian side that went down to 10 men. I'm not convinced it wasn't a one off. Especially considering Klose & Podolski's domestic form.

I did also allude to Klose coming back in possibly making the difference.

Mags, the law of averages has nothing to do with. It's about quality and mental strength. We don't have enough of either, particularly the mental side.

I didn't notice this.

lol

PS have a look at goals per minute on pitch. Decent estimate would be 3 in 90 vs 2 in 180. Then consider the next two games.

Klose >>>> Ian Royal
