Spurs - trying to be (the old) Arsenal

by TBM » 20 Aug 2010 13:26

Hleb
Gallas

I wonder how the Spurs fans will take that, considering the amount of shit they give/gave Sol Campbell

There are few fans as hypocritical as Spurs. Such little class I doubt they care about the Arsenal link even though they pretended to care so much with Sol Campbell.

Reckon they will welcome him with open arms, that is when their knuckles are not dragging along the floor.

Sol was coming up to his peak, British, Spurs passion running through his veins.
Then he decides that trophies is what he needs, he ain't gonna win them at Spurs, so he does the remarkable thing and joins Arsenal.

Gallas is French and a veteran.

Sol joining Arsenal at 26 or 27, and Gallas joining Spurs at 33.

It's not the same.

it may surprise many to learn that "sol" was not universally loved on the shelf and paxton: a good many said the lillywhites should have taken the money before he walked...

So you find this behaviour acceptable? You'd probably get your knickers in a twist if it had been a white player.
