Thomas L'Heureux I agree with TBMers and Kes, Bale's performances in the Champions League clearly influenced the voting which is wrong in my opinion. He's had a few decent games in the Premiership and scored some good goals early in the season, but he has not been a consistantly high performer and is basically the best of a bad bunch.
There hasn't been any stand-out players this season really. Usually there are one or two who are streets ahead of everyone but the fact that Bale was given the award shows how mediocre everyone has been.

TBM Carlos Tevez - 19 goals
Leighton Baines - 11 assists (from left back)
Joe Hart - 14 clean sheets
Better than Bale IMHO

I'd go along with that. I'd even say that Ryan Giggs is more deserving than Bale too.

No Fixed Abode Can't believe Bale won it tbf. He was immense in the CL for a couple of games or so and ok in the league.

gazzer, loyal royal Isn't it voted for in January? Therefore up until Jam before the injury and him trying to beat the world every time he got the ball he was class. His Volley at Stoke will be my goal of the season

Victor Meldrew Not sure how Wilshere got in the PFA team.
A lot of potential yes but from what I have seen he hasn't done as much as the hype suggests.
According to Wenger he is an attacking midfielder and from that position you would expect at least 10 goals per season as per Gerrard,Lampard,Adam,Cahill etc-he may have scored plenty but I can only remember one.
