Weekend Football Nov 2nd/3rd

Doncaster 3-0 at Ipswich at half-time, courtesy of Billy Sharp, and two goals on debut from a certain El Hadji Diouf.

pleased for Billy, plus I don't much care for Ipswich. But the bottom two are winning and the table is starting to be scary for us.

Couldn't tell if Sunderland should have had that penalty or not which was overturned.

Oh. Does 'away debut' work?

Quality hits from Ryan Taylor and Anthony Pilkington.

And it will be a travesty if Agbonlahor isn't in the squad. If you can earn your place in this England squad then Agbonlahor has done everything he can this season. With Rooney apparently not to be picked, there's really no excuse not to include him, and to probably start him on the wing with Bent up front.

aaron lennon take a bow, superb goal. but the atmosphere in craven cottage is absolutely dire. it's like a reserve match being able to hear the players calling to each other.

Bolton . Was watching and they looked unstoppable. Not sure even the top sides would have matched them when they played like that.

Some outstanding goalkeeping this weekend.

Friedel (great signing) just rock solid for Spurs today, for me in the top 3 or 4 keepers in the league for the past 10 years. Rarely ever seems to have a bad game.

Al Habsi mixed some pretty average stuff with 3 absolutely world class saves, didn't get much help from the defense with Wolves 2nd goal. The double save he made before that was incredible.

Westwood who is FAR superior to Mignolet anyway produced a world class double save at OT yesterday

And finally Michel Vorm who for me has been the best keeper in the league so far this season with Krul 2nd had yet another superb display at anfield yesterday.

Great scenes.

Agreed on Vorm, he has been phenomenal.

Carroll has been atrocious, you'd expect a better return than 5 goals in 20 games, even given his injuries.

Still it's better than 5 goals in 30 games.

another win for 'arrys boys..they could pose problems to other sides when able to put out a first choice 11.

What ever happened to Cech? Looked unbelievable in his early days but just couldn't sustain that high level for long. Never fully got it back after knee-g8?
