Bandini Svlad Cjelli I'd imagine the penalty would be having his contract cancelled with no further payments - which presumably is exactly what he wants most.
Couldn't they hold on to his registration in those circumstances? Alternatively, if Citeh terminated the contract because of his breach and lost the ability to sell him (because they couldn't retain the registration), I guess that Tevez would be liable for Citeh's loss (ie his transfer value), subject to there being clauses in the contract to the contrary.
Before Bosman yes, but I'm not sure these days. Would depends on terms of contract as you say, but I feel it might need to go to court to be resolved. If so, any sensible club would recognise the fight's not worth the hassle and tell him to piss off and never come back.
