RIP - Ablett has passed away after an 18-month battle with non-hodgins lymphoma, very sad. Part of the last Liverpool side to win the league title, and the first team I ever watched play as a fan.

No, like our dear Harold, I've been going to top flight footy since I were a wee boy (although there were more than 8,000 fans there), Ablett was in the first Liverpool side I saw at Anfield.
