Ridiculous. So glad these sort of ultras aren't present in English football.

Ideal The entire ultras culture is based upon the mistaken claim by the participants that they are somehow better fans than other fans.
Which clearly is not the case. They are just more violent, obnoxious and repulsive. Somehow in their minds this makes them "better" fans..??

They're completely deluded. I don't understand how they can believe that their actions are benefiting their team whatsoever.

Didn't the team drop their shirts at the players entrance as they walked off the pitch. Interesting if they did so but also the wrong move to make.

Top stuff from the Genoa fans. The team should not be down the bottom with the players they have so it must be a lack of effort. The disgusted genoa fans want players giving 100% in the shirts, not turning up and collecting their wages. Glad they embarassed their players as no doubt the genoa fans have been embarrassed all season having to go to work on a monday knowing they were beaten by someone crap.

Gilardino has been below par both at Fiorentina and Genoa this season, Palacio has been the decent striker for them. As a result of yesterday they sacked their manager (not for the first time this season) and will play their final two home games behind closed doors. Was extraordinary viewing yesterday!

Fair play to Sculli for having the balls to stand up to the Ultras.

Really? The squad seems thoroughly underwhelming, bar the goalkeeper Frey and Gilardino there isn't a single one who would get into any of the better teams sides.
Two players does not make a good team.

^this. the entire ultra mentality is utter nonsense, but this a situation thats been waiting to happen. the italian police have come out and said that they purposefully dont engage ultras because it will cause more violence and its better to let them just get on with it (hence the inter/ac scooter incident http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_Nu6HKVSmk). but the situation is now approaching breaking point, with ultras acting with impuinty and no fear of sanction. youre no more of a fan if you feel the need to confront players for playing badly. its not a good squad, its got terrible management thats already been sacked once this season and now the team has to fear its own fans...shameful behavior.
