We all enjoy the so called mind games they are a bit of fun, but Mancini was out of order to say United have an easy game against Swansea the same team who beat them a few weeks back. In fairness to Fergie he respects all teams, and would never come out with a crass coment ike that.

Silver Fox TBH I turned over long before Shreevesy had his chance to say "So alex, turns out you're not very good any more and your local rivals are going to win the league. How does that make you feel?"

Actually the interviewer said "were you worried when Kompany got a red card?" to which Mancini looked a bit confused and said "another one? really?" followed by a pause and then the guy going "oh yeah, I meant a yellow card"

Hopeless.

It's all "out of order" - that's the whole point, FFS. You sound like the sort that believes wrestling is for real.

Tbf - Kompany should have been sent off again. Booked once, then making a gesture to get Scholes booked, should have resulted in another yellow. Mancini was doing the same on the line also.

I'm sure it wouldn't take us long to find at least a dozen Fergie comments of this sort - probably all from the last month.

Fergie's current problem is that he's used to his opposite number crumbling under the mind games a la Keegan/Benitez, but he clearly can't fathom the downbeat response from Mancini. It's funny watching him struggle to hold it together - he's beginning to realise what those other managers have been going through.
