Ups and Downs He'll definitely go to Spurs. He wants to play for Man Utd one day and that will become highly unlikely if he plays for Liverpool.

Has anyone ever moved from Liverpool direct to Utd? I can only think of Owen playing for Liverpool and then Man U but that was after Real and Newcastle.

Wiki says last time was 1964.

i hope he does sign for spurs. he can then be a bit player that manchester united will break the bank to pay for to no effect. they have made a habit of it.

Gylfi has the ability to become a very good player in the right environment.

Like when they signed Carrick and went on to win the league 3 seasons in a row?

Ideal Why would he want to join tuttnumb, they have no manager, and are in dire straits financially, having to now offload their biggest stars to cover the black hole left behind after Redknapps financial acrobatics.

Name the last team Redknapp managed that didn't have a financial meltdown?
(Am I allowed to use that word?)

Royal With Cheese I can see them living in a house in North Finchley.

You'd hope that between them they can scrape enough cash together for a nice place in Totteridge.

I'm so glad Reading never signed Tommy Smith. One of the worst strikers I've seen play football.
