Doncaster fan in trouble

by LoyalRoyalFan » 04 Oct 2012 19:33

Doncaster Rovers Football Club has always been proud of the excellent reputation which its travelling supporters have held over many years.

The Rovers’ travelling supporters in general are a credit to the club both in their ardent support of the team on the pitch, and also in their behaviour which they display week upon week at the various grounds throughout the football league. Norwich City fans recently showered praise upon the Rovers’ fans after their visit to Carrow Road in the Capital One Cup Competition; another example of the respect which other clubs hold for Rovers’ fans.

Sadly, much to the disappointment and annoyance of all true loyal Rovers’ fans, this excellent reputation was dented as a result of an extremely outrageous act of vandalism which was carried out by one or more individual(s) during the club’s visit to Leyton Orient’s football ground.

It has been reported and verified by officials at Leyton Orient that a toilet wall (designated in the ‘Away’ supporters’ toilets) was daubed with human excrement. Such disgusting behaviour resulted in the toilet being closed
while staff at the ground had to tend to the cleaning of the offensive material.

From the Chairman downwards, all staff at Doncaster Rovers condemn this abhorrent behaviour which has tarnished the reputation of the thousands of Rovers’ supporters who travel the length and breadth of the country in support of the club. We have contacted Leyton Orient Football Club and apologised profusely for this outlandish behaviour, and we appreciate the understanding which Leyton Orient officials have shown to us in this matter.

Doncaster Rovers Football Club is determined to do all within its power to protect the excellent reputation which our travelling fans have long enjoyed, and will not hesitate to take appropriate action against any individual identified as being the cause of any behaviour which brings the club’s reputation into dispute.

Makes me laugh when they say things like
Sadly, much to the disappointment and annoyance of all true loyal Rovers’ fans

Is the implication that vandals can't be loyal fans?
