FINAL-RUN IN: Checklist

by floyd__streete » 03 Apr 2013 17:56

So as the sun comes down on this awful season for RFC, I find myself playing schadenfreudist and romanticist in equal measure in looking for the following to silver-line my cloud in a sliding-scale of likeliness:

- Pompey to be (at best) relegated.
- QPR to be relegated.
- Aldershot to stay up at the expense of Plymouth.
- 2 or 3 of B'mouth, Swindon, Brentford, Yeovil to come up.
- Millwall/Wigan to win the FA Cup.

I genuinely couldn't give a tinker's cuss about boring shizzle such as who gets the last Champions League place zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Worst case is Doncaster, Sheff Utd + one of the above. Reacquainting ourselves with Bournemouth would be great.
Forest Green Rovers to go up
Luton failing - again.
Stockport to survive

Depends where you live really! I'd love them to come up as it is so close to me in Chesterfield! I'd also like Brentford, as I have a very good mate who is a STH for them and it is always fun to see him after we beat them

+1 to all of that. Sorry to be pedantic but think that night in the 'muff was on a Thursday for some bizarre reason. I remember getting the last train home and apparently some ruffians had smashed up quite a bit of the train station on their way through beforehand. Kirkby (rip) scoring at the far post. My hazy and pissed up memory seems to think Gilksey may have put it in if it wasn't for Kirbs intervention. Also loved the fact that the muff had to give up large sections of the home ends to us that night. Originally the cops wanted to put us in their big covered end behind the goal but that being the muffs hardcore fans (lol) area this idea was rejected due to locals objections.

Oh and Wolves to go down goes without saying.

Half an eye on Orient possibly scraping the play offs and an unlikely promotion to the Championship, offering an extra London away day.

Good spot. I'd definitely come over for this if it happened.

Brentford to come up please. Blackburn to go down. Also want Posh to stay up for some reason, think it's because I'm in love with Adrian Durham.

WHAT :|

He's the worst man in the history of anything ever. Hitler > Durham. Gives it all the WUM on TwitteROFL then gets all rattled when he gets threatened by chav Spurs fan. Also predicted that 'arry's QPR would finish above AVB's Spurs this season  .

No one, not even Frimjob, has tried to swim against the tide more than Adrian Durham.

At least one of Brentford or Swindon will be in the L1 play-off final, given us a decent chance of an M4 derby next season.

I will, literally, wet myself if we get both the Swine and Boremuff next year.
