To answer the last 2 posts. Firstly Yately Royal, when I said 'your club' I was quoting Retro_Royal who is a United fan. This is the second time that I have had to point out that you fail to understand the concept of the general football forum. Secondly LWJ you can back up Kes all you like but it still doesn't make him correct. It's because those stats I posted are correct, KoS doesn't like it that Liverpool have spent £84m more than United in 23 years and haven't won a title, so he's put me on his ignore list. Scousers have a mentality of brushing facts under the carpet and this is more evidence to confirm this.

Like I say, it's all relative really, as United's revenue is far higher than Liverpool's so United can afford to pay higher wages. Still doesn't alter the fact, they've spent £84m more on transfers.

Does go to show though how far Liverpool have fallen. They used to go mad about winning the league. Now they go mad about winning one league game.

If I have even a minor dispute with Retro_Royal then Kes is there. Similarly if its Kes i'm up against then you can bet RR will show up. They are like girly BFF. Won't happen again because I have stuck them both on ignore which I should have done ages ago. Apologies to anyone who got bored of our squabbles.

I think net spending would be an interesting comparison, for every Torres and Carroll deal there's a Ronaldo with no real replacement.
