Speaking of Watford, they were very unfortunate again last night, the ref/lino decided this wasn't a goal

Didn't look a goal on any of the replays they showed on ssn this morning or in that picture there. Was it a good decision by the ref and ignorance of the rules on Zola's part?

From in front of the goal it is very hard to tell if the ball has crosse the line as even a glimpse of grass doesn't mean the whole of the ball has crossed.

The view from side on certainly wasn't conclusive and I'm not sure it went it. Still, it makes for a controversial story to pad out some more air time for SSN.

Keith Hill had a poor game.

Pretty standard from this bloke, he's been shit every time I've seen him - 9 games. One of the more memorable refs and that's nothing to do with his unfortunate obvious deformity.

He is actually a nice guy but I believe he is lucky to be officiating at the level he is at.

OOF! Like others, I was waiting to see what was wrong with the next goal - only the slow-mos show what happened. No one protested!

Talking of goals where the ball hits an advertising board and then bounces back out - I'm sure that in the late 90s, Leeds won at Southampton 3-0 (Michael Bridges hat-trick IIRC, distinctly remember him doing an Andy Johnson style burger eating celebration as he was a bit chubby) & Mark Hughes thumped the ball home from a set piece, only for the ball to hit an ad board and bounce back out - no goal given.
