He said "I want to get us into the premier league and then who knows, Europe? *sly grin*"

He may not have said exactly what Goat was saying. But he did talk stuff up a lot. I seem to recall stuff about a 3 year plan but trying to get promoted in season one. Pearce being like John Terry... Every game we played well, even if we lost.

It's all implies and hints at high achievement which is going to raise supporters expectations. Especially after years of listening to Steve Coppell take it a game at a time, play things down, say we were poor and he didn't know why we played that badly, but he'd go back to training and work on it.

Well done to Brendan - I made a donation to his fund in memory of my dear departed father. Great effort.

Analyse all the stats, read all the rumours, rewatch our games under him, but basically, he's a nob.

Perhaps, but he's still but he's still a nob who's "one of us".

Irrespect of Swansea's fine defensive record, I think BR has plenty to think about at the back. Sooner or later the likes of Monk and Tate will get horribly found out in the Prem, much like what happened with Sonko/Ivar/Duberry who were considerably stronger defenders.

It's ok, he's gone and bid for Leroy Lita now....did Lita actually ever play under Rodgers? If not, Big Watch obviously doesnt realise how much of a massive oxf*rd LL is

Not convinced someone with Litas first touch would do well under Rodgers in the premier league, seems an odd bid to make

why would he go to Cardiff?

He'll either go out in Swansea or go back to Bristol and be glassed there again.

He used to drink in Chameleon in Wokingham. Honestly the biggest prick ever. If he wasn't a footballer he'd be a rapist.

Or anyone with the surname "Bramble".......

"Yeah - if a drunk girl goes up to my room wiv me an my mates, its obvious she wants us to do her M'lud"

Nice defence there Titus; as good as your defence on the football field.........

Surprisingly, the jury didn't accept that, and found his brother guilty of rape.

Yeah, only decent footballers should be allowed to rape. Bramble only had enough 'Hero Points' for light arsen.

On another note, McDermott was just on SSN chatting about Villas-Boas (I don't know why either  ). I laughed when he said there was a time when he woke up at 3 am convinced that he was a Premier League manager...

Villas-Boas used to be a scout when he was at Chelsea and obviosuly McD was our scout. I'm guessing they met and talked a few times for work purposes........
