Poyet worth a bet. He couldn't have made it clearer last season that Brighton is a springboard and he wants a Prem job.

WestCoast Life Rumours that Adkins has been sacked today.

Considering his record in getting them where they are now that would be quite ridiculous.

Not really, they actually want to stay there. Whats the point of all that hard work to get promoted and not doing everything you can to stay in the PL?

It's like clubs doing everything they can to get into Europe then playing the ressies,

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2228682/Nigel-Adkins-Southampton-talks-future.html

Southampton boss Nigel Adkins is locked in crunch talks over his future with the Barclays Premier League's bottom club.

Sportsmail understands Adkins is already resigned to the fact he will lose his job, and the likeable Liverpudlian could be gone as early as today, meaning he is set to lose his job before the weekend clash against Swansea after the newly-promoted side's poor start to the campaign..

Executive chairman Nicola Cortese is said to be furious with the Saints' sorry start and last night's 2-0 defeat against West Bromwich Albion was the final straw.

Southampton chiefs have been locked in meetings with regards to Adkins future and it now seems inevitable that the ex-Scunthorpe boss will be axed sooner rather than later.

Thats what I thought.

Unfortunately for him, he's made some horrible errorswith Signings. 7.5mill on Jay Rodrigues says it all.

He'll be in demand though.

And letting Billy Sharp go out on loan didn't make any sense to me either as I rate him above Rodrigues

When your team are loanees, your maximum wage is 3k pw and Brian Howard is your captain....25% aint bad

Can't be true anyway, he denied all knowledge of the Blackpool move on the Pompey sites this morning :o

Germany but maybe of interest, for Arch at least. Second division team 1860 München have supposedly sacked their trainer Reiner Maurer (to be confirmed). Sven-Göran Eriksson favourite to take over, according to the rumour mill here.

Hughes will be gone by Monday/Tuesday once this Grand Prix weekend.

Redknapp installed by Thursday. Quite clearly wants the job.

Let's just hope they are dead and buried before January.
