TheMaraudingDog I just hope you're not one of those that watches a game through their camera phone.

on the team board No Fixed Abode

Wasn't my picture m8. :| Lifted from Facebook last night.

Lol. Nice backtracking m8. Some of your comments on the team board would also suggest you were there last night while your beloved Chelsea were only playing at Birmingham, a very simple ground to get to from here

TheMaraudingDog Tbf i can see why a Yank would chose Reading.

A spacker bowl
Ground named for marketing purposes
Fluctuating crowds
Rumble stix
A drummer
Half time pizza
Shite originality from fans and plenty of Der der der songs
Pants days
Ginger days
Beard days
Take ya misses days (every game)
Wear a replica days (every game)
You don't have to go and you can still fit in

Im sure there are plenty more reasons but its gone midnight and i should be in bed
Night.

LOLOLOLOL!!!

This coming from a supporter of a team which has American owners and more American supporters than any other 5 clubs you'd care to name...combined.

3 veesinarow Genuine question cos I'm not sure if I've got the right person, but am I right in thinking TMD did not originally support MUFC? Honest query, not trying to stir things up, apologies if I'm barking up the wrong tree.

Bumping myself...still an honest question.

Always supported United. Infact when i moved down to Wokkers aged 12 i saw someone in a Reading shirt for the first time and genuinely had never heard of them until that point.

Went with 'the firm' for a few years from 99-04 but generally stay away from Reading games now.

So how does it feel to support a global corporate brand instead of a football club?

Not even a wind up. Was someone in my class wearing it for PE and i had to ask what team that was. For some reason that memory sticks in my mind.

Lets be fair though, how many 12 year olds from Reading would recognise a Morecambe shirt.
