Not sure why United get such stick for having fans in other parts of the Country.

When I went to the Community Shield final in Cardiff when we played Liverpool a few seasons ago, there was hardly a scouse accent anywhere amongst the Liverpool fans. Most of them were Asian and came via the M4.

+1

if you live round here and are from round here, there's no difference in supporting Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea. If you support a "big club off the telly" the fact that the latter two might be easier to get to formed no part of the decision process in supporting that club.

When I go to a football match I probably (like most people)hear the voices of about 10 people in the ground and about the same walking to and from the ground.
So 20 people out of about 70,000 is hardly a good sample and anyway you would have been too chicken to mix with those dangerous scousers carrying out your market survey.

Why is it that so many Asians support Liverpool? Wierd.

I went to Thailand, and everyone seemed to support Liverpool or Man Utd.

Bizarrely, I went into a bar in Bangkok one evening and they were showing the merseyside derby on a big screen. The girls on stage were all watching the match as they "danced", with every chance having them jump about in excitement.

Then the dancers decided to dance with their outfits reduced to cowboy hats and boots, and nothing else, and do you know, for some reason I seemed to lose interest in the football somewhat.

Driving from Singapore to a city in the south of Malaysia and there was a huge billboard at the side of the road in the middle of miles and miles of thick jungle and it was pictures of Liverpool players and in the middle it just said 'Support Liverpool'

Given their outfits, you'd need to be incredibly unobservant to make that mistake in there.
