Why does someone having a deb8 with you make them 'rattled'? A conversation works that someone gives their opinion and then another person gives theres and so on. You should feel flattered that someone wants to talk to you, m8.

I suppose I am ROFLattLOLed by saying this aren't I? :|

who are ya? Tbf I'm not going to spend my Saturdays under a tin roof, watching blokes I see out on the piss at the weekends try string together passes on a bobbly pitch for 6 quid or whatever it is. So I settled for the ROFLoyaLOLs

Not when you can pay 4 times as much to watch a brand of football which is twice as good.

AthleticoSpizz I've never understood why anybody over the age of 14 would want to support any team other than the Town's team they were born in, or the town's team where they had spent the majority of their lives in.

I think people need to have their imagination stirred. I'm sure everyone has some somewhere - deep down in the recesses of their mental innards or whatever. I just think it needs a good stirring... and I'm a very good stirrer, you know

25000 turning up for a league cup game? I'd say that was pretty good actually. fans don't turn out in numbers for this cup any more and clubs often rest their better players for it, and few want the reward of europa cup games the following season which congests your clubs fixture list.

Perhaps they should adopt the auto cup system and force their fans to buy tickets for games they don't want to see like their City neighbours.

A little touchy and abrasive TMD..a little touchy?

I have plenty of mates (although I'm not in the same league as a "National Accounts Manager", admittedly).....and am yet to read a plausible explanation from you.

Me touchy?

You follow me around the board repeating yourself you silly old fool.

And the 4 times I've spotted you at football youve been on your own which would suggest you're a bit of a social retard.

Not sure what you want me to explain by the way.

Sorry, I think that you are confusing me with someone else m8 .....i cannot think of any games (apart from Layer Road, when I was amongst the home tribe) in the past thirty odd years that I have attended alone.

For what it was worth, I was hoping for a sensible explanation why folk such as you support teams above and beyond their own local ones......sensible and you....my mistake.

I can't really win here. If I told you where I was born and brought up, where my Dad & Grandad was born and brought up and how long I've regulary been attending home, away and European United games you wouldn't believe me so there's no point.

Instead next time you see someone in a United or Chelsea shirt in town ask them and then report back.

Anyway, why does it bother you where people are from and who they support?

Clues up 40 year old United fans from London, Bristol, South Wales >>>>>>> half the Reading born and bread mongdivs that go to the Spakker Bowl.

Anyway, back to City. For a club that claim to have 100,000's of supporters in Manchester you'd have thought they shouldn't have a problem selling out when cheap tickets are up for grabs in the most exciting time in their history.

Maybe there's just not as many City fans in Manchester as they'd like to think?

Or maybe the Coca Cola/Worthington/Carling Cup is a bit crap when you're saving you're money to watch you're team in the CL for the first time.
