I wonder what Mark Hughes will make of that result...

cmonurz John Ruddy was quite outstanding.

CarollOL is all I have to say on that game. Absolute sitter not even on target; nice use of £35m.

Yeah because one miss equates to that whole 35 million.

Naive.

Less goals than Gylfi in the Championship followed by half a good season in the Premiership doesn't either.

Early days but it's shaping up to be a bad day for both of HNA's resident WUMs.

If thats all you're judging Andy Carroll on then you are very naive.

Drogba dives in 2-footed and now it's 9 men for Chelsea!

John Henry himself has admitted they payed too much for him based on those reasons.

Refs had a shocker for the first 2 decisions. But hey ho CheLOLsea. Drogba's a massive belmont

I still half fancy Chelsea to win even with 9 because QPR are bobbins.

QPR were 30 something to 1 to win today - so guess who had a little punt?! (clue: it wasn't me)

TMD won't be gloating for a while I suspect and, hopefully, Kes will disappear...

Not to win the game they weren't.

8/1 to win before the start of play on Coral.

If QPR don't win this they deserve to go down.

I'm not "judging" him. I just think that £35m was too much for him with his track record. So far at Liverpool, he doesn't look like he's going to justify the fee either. He may prove me wrong, I just don't expect him to.

Surely it's down to the whole context of the sale - on deadline day Liverpool had lost Torres and had about 8 hours to sign a replacement. They had to be seen to sign someone and to sign someone big - in what was most definitely a seller's market.
