Not FA Cup, but... could be an emotional day at Barrow today, Darlington fans arriving at the ground with the news that this could be the club's last ever fixture. The club essentially needs £300k in the next week in order to survive, not looking good.

Shirley Man City could do the good thing and throw 300k their way? Pocket change for them.

Would just delay the day of reckoning a bit - their problems are more fundamental than just paying off the existing shortfall.

Simon's Church Liverpool fan arrested on suspicion of racially abusing Oldham player Tom Adeyemi.

Yep - If the club supports racism, they can't exactly ban the fan from Anfield can they?

Apparently Ben Arfa's goal for Newcastle today is something special and if it was scored by Messi it would be talked about for years....

Anyone seen it?

Not really, won the ball cleanly with his right foot.

Straight red looked fair.
He left the ground completely and went in with both feet.
You can't argue with that.

Left the ground completely...? Really?

Giggs tackle from behind was certainly a yellow

Both feet left the ground; therefore I'm not sure you can argue against me suggesting he jumped into the challenge....

Whether he won it or won it with just one foot is irrelevant, IMHO.

If you think that's a red card then you're mental. Cleanly won the ball with his right foot, but feet on the ground, opposition player didn't even fall over. There's no point to football if you can't make challenges like that.
