Would just delay the day of reckoning a bit - their problems are more fundamental than just paying off the existing shortfall.

If you think that's a red card then you're mental. Cleanly won the ball with his right foot, but feet on the ground, opposition player didn't even fall over. There's no point to football if you can't make challenges like that.
