Whore Jackie According to the LMA (League Managers Association) website, this season there's been 31 managerial changes. Quite a few look to be sackings, other changes will have been enforced as managers leave clubs to replace those that have been pushed.

In 2006-07 there were 48 managerial changes and in 2005-06 49 managerial changes. With two and a half months of this season remaining (plus the close season), it's quite conceivable that another 15 or so managers will be sacked or move on. It's the way football is these days.

As an aside, have a look at the 'available managers' on the LMA site. That is one long, very scary list.

Tredder I don't think any manager could legislate for the Bristol City game, i think Leicester will be fine and the one liner express will continue.

Can't wait.

With the news about the manager of Man City about to be sacked, what is the number now?

38 currently. Not including Sven. Yet. Wonder if we'll hit 50 by the end of May.

Only two between 12 Mar & now?

I assume that's Richard Money and Andy Ritchie?

Few more have departed now, with De Canio, Lambert et al.

Incidentally, I believe the whisper is that Peter Taylor will be unveiled by Wycombe at 14:30

44 to the end of May. Currently 46. Be quite interesting to see how many more before the 2008/9 season starts.

With Walsall’s sacking of Jimmy Mullen, here's this season’s current total:

2008-09 27
2007-08 46
2006-07 48
2005-06 49

Surprisingly consistent over the last few years.

Anyone know what price you can get on Scolari being sacked before the end of the season?!

I’m pretty sure Adams will be sacked with Alan Curbishley replacing him in a month or so.

In other “Curbs” related news I wonder how all those Charlton fans who, “were fed up of finishing mid-table every year” feel about saying that AC, “had taken them as far as he can,” now…..?

Same brand of fan who were saying the same thing about Coppell.
They're everywhere.

Trouble is with Charlton, certainly in modern times and, definitely in our case...
You've never had it so good!

I cannot believe there have been that many changes in the last few years. Mental.
