Whore Jackie It took him an awfully long time to get Burton Albion to their current position.

Huntley & Palmer Bit too much of a jump for me, he would be better served at a club in League 1 or below. Bit like Ince, I think the pressure on him would be too much

But he has built consistently. How many promotions has he led them to?:

Derby Chairman Adam Pearson He's got a presence about him and he commands respect. He's firm but fair and I think he'll bring a considered approach to managing this set of players. I do believe Nigel is very much his own man but he does want to create his own dynasty at the club, he's already spoken of a 10-year plan.

Archie's penalty Well he had a very understanding chairman at Burton and it seems like Pearson is a decent chap as well. I also think the Derby fans will give him a bit more slack due to his dad.
As to why I said I was now a Derby fan well that's as I loved ol' big head. I really hope that Cloughie Mark 2 does well.

I'd ask Jewell and Davies if Pearson is an understanding man

Whore Jackie Obviously his record at Derby was second-to-none, but I always associate Brian Clough with Forest.
Interesting that Forest (on the face of it) didn’t approach Nigel for their managerial vacancy.
It’s going to be interesting to see who fares better.
Both clubs near the bottom of the pile, with decent support, few good players and not much money to spend.
